Oh JACOB, JOSEPH, MOSES, DAVID, SULEYMAN.......
......WE ARE LOSING OUR YOUTHS TO A MONKEY GOD.
THIS IS "THE JAMAIS VU". A MONOTHEIST RELIGION SHOULD NOT, NEVER, MUST NOT
LOSE ITS ADHERENTS TO A POLYTHEIST RELIGION.
REASON OF THIS: THE YOUTHS WEREN'T TAUGHT THE REAL MONOTHEISM : WE CALL IT
'TAWHEEEEEEEEEEEEEEED'!
LA ILAHA ILLA ALLAH, MUHAMMAD RASULULLAH.

Rabbis look for lost flock

An exodus from the Promised Land has left Jewish religious leaders worried.

Israeli youths, fresh out of their three-year mandatory army service, are
leaving their strife-torn country and reaching India in droves in search of
peace.

More than 10,000 men and women make their way towards places like Manali,
Dharamshala and Kasauli every year where they find peace in Hinduism,
nature, and, sometimes, drugs. Many marry locals, convert to Hinduism and
cut off all contact with family in Israel.

"We find peace here. This is a nice place to unwind after facing hardships
back in Israel which is facing a war-like situation with the Palestinians,"
said Michal, who arrived in India three months ago with her friends.

Worried about these developments, Jewish religious leaders have stepped up
their attempts to keep their flock intact. Two rabbis - Barcuh and Yonatan -
arrived in India recently with a mission to take back Israeli youth who have
strayed.

"This is a serious social problem. We face a daunting task of changing their
minds. It's counter-brainwashing. The parents of these youths in Israel call
us up and request us to take care of their children who do not call them for
months together after reaching India," said Barcuh.

Barcuh is head rabbi at the Manali Chabad house - a resource centre that
provides educational and recreational activities for Jews.

It has proved to be very successful in helping Jews from all over the world
to rediscover their religion and culture. There are four Chabad houses in
Manali and surrounding areas and some 2,500 across the world.

The Chabad house has recently acquired a larger space in the heart of
Manali. "As the number of Jewish youth visiting India, and Manali
particular, are increasing, we have acquired a larger space to accommodate
them for prayers," said Barcuh.

Cases of intermarriage are a major cause of concern for Jewish religious
leaders. "I have heard of cases of Jews marrying locals and converting to
Hinduism. This is not a healthy development for a Jewish state like Israel.
Religious courts back home will not recognise such marriages," said Barcuh.

But that doesn't matter much to an Israeli fresh out of Army service. "If I
marry an Indian girl our children will not be recognised as Jewish. But we
can at least live a good and peaceful life here. I am thinking of staying
back," he said.

The Chabad house has also come out with a book that is being distributed
among Israelis doing drugs and drifting from their religion. Drugs are
clearly a hit with foreigners in Manali, more than 70 per cent of whom are
Israelis.

SSP A.P. Singh admitted the availability of drugs was a problem. "The
biggest attraction for Israeli youth is the free availability of drugs
here," agreed R.K. Sharma, DGM, HP Tourism Development Corporation Ltd.

But Barcuh denies this: "They come here for peace."

You mean they chose a "monkey god" over Islam?

What does that say about Islam?

LOL!
